First Cayman Islands Pedicab Business Starts Operations

Pedicabs on The Biggest Looser November 8, 2005
Main Street Pedicabs is featured on NBC's hit weight loss show, The Biggest Loser. Contestants used their pedicabs to pass the weekly weight loss challenges. Main Street Pedcabs helped them succeed! For the challenge, everyone had to pedal a pedicab up the steep ranch driveway. The person who finished first would win immunity for his or her duo. Everyone got on their pedicabs, with their family member in tow. Weight was added when necessary so that everyone was “pulling their own weight” up the hill. Matt and Seth were out in front quickly and maintained their lead over the group. It was a battle to the end, but Seth pushed on to victory. More importantly, they each got to spend time with their family members!

Pedicabs on The Apprentice March 11, 2004
Main Street Pedicabs were used for the March 11, 2004 episode of NBC's hit TV show, The Apprentice. Episode 10 - "Wheeling and Dealing" - the remaining members of "Versacorp" and "Protégé" teams compete against each other by operating a pedicab (rickshaw) service in NYC. When the two teams met with Donald in the boardroom, George and Carolyn laid out the numbers. Versacorp had a total profit of $3,680 while Protégé had a profit of just over $382. Even the always cool Trump seemed to do a double-take. The lopsided victory was the direct result of selling advertising.
